CULTURE
Culture is the result of the behaviors and values that are consistently practiced within a group. It presents the "Three C's"—Connect, Care, and Challenge—as the foundation of a healthy group culture. By intentionally building relationships, caring for one another, and encouraging spiritual growth through accountability and biblical discussion, leaders create an environment where people feel they belong, are supported, and are continually growing in their faith. The video emphasizes that these consistent practices shape the culture of the group more than any program or meeting format.
CONTENT
Content is a key element in shaping a healthy small-group culture by keeping discussions centered on Scripture and spiritual growth. Rather than simply filling time, the content should be biblically grounded, relevant, and engaging, encouraging meaningful conversation and practical application. When leaders consistently provide purposeful, Christ-centered content, they create an environment where group members deepen their understanding of God's Word, grow in their faith, and are equipped to live it out together.
COMMUNICATION
Communication is essential to building a healthy small-group culture because it creates clarity, trust, and connection. It emphasizes that leaders should communicate consistently, clearly, and with purpose—keeping group members informed, encouraged, and engaged both inside and outside of meetings. Effective communication goes beyond sharing information; it helps people feel valued, strengthens relationships, and reinforces the group's mission, ensuring everyone knows what to expect and how to participate.
